Note: The current retail version of HeapAgent, which 
you can purchase from MicroQuill, is version 9. So 
this trial version is rather old. While it will 
work with all versions of Microsoft Visual C++, 
including VS 2008, it cannot report file and line 
numbers for errors detected in code built with VC++ 
7 & later compilers. The retail version of HeapAgent 
does not have this limitation. if you need a version 
of HeapAgent that reports file and line numbers for 
VC++ 7 & VC++ 8 projects, you have two options:
1. Purchase HeapAgent 9 from MicroQuill. The software 
comes with a 60-day money back guarantee.
2. Send an email to support@microquill.com and request 
a 30-day evaluation version of HeapAgent 9. You'll need 
to complete an evaluation agreement form.

the installation instructions:

To use HeapAgent v3.1 trial:

1.  Use winzip or another utility and the password hm3mw4
to uncompress the file. 
2.  Run setup.exe.
