Palm users who are seeing SmartHeap error messages (the most common are MEM_BAD_POINTER and OUT_OF_MEMORY) need to to resolve these problems by working with Palm tech support. There is nothing that we at Microquill can do to help you (why not?). Note that Palm software uses SmartHeap internally, so a SmartHeap error message in this case is a Palm error message.
If you contact Palm's technical support and they tell you that you need to call us, please gently insist that they look into this issue, or transfer you to someone higher up in Palm's tech support hierarchy. We have plenty of anecdotal evidence that there are people at Palm Software who are acquainted with these issues and know how to fix them: you just need to get in touch with the right person.
