HeapAgent 7-day free trial (Windows 32-bit)
The HeapAgent trial version is a free, fully functional
trial version of HeapAgent for 32-bit Windows. The trial lets you
find and fix memory errors in applications running under XP, Windows
2000, Windows NT and Windows 95/98, and will work for seven days
from the day you download it.
Note: This trial version is version 3.12.
The current retail version of HeapAgent, which you can purchase
from MicroQuill, is version 8. So this trial version is rather old.
While it will work with all versions of Microsoft Visual C++, including
VC++ 7 and VC++ 8 (Visual Studio 2005), the trial version cannot
report file and line numbers for errors detected in VC++ 7 &
VC++ 8 builds. The retail version of HeapAgent does not have this
limitation. if you need a version of HeapAgent that reports file
and line numbers for VC++ 7 & VC++ 8 projects, you have two
options:
Purchase HeapAgent 8 from MicroQuill. The software comes

30-day evaluation version of HeapAgent 8. You'll need to complete
an evaluation license and fax it back to us.
Downloading the HeapAgent free trial
To download and install the HeapAgent free trial:
- Send an email to hademo@microquill.com
and we'll send you the password for today's version of the HeapAgent
7-day free trial. No special subject or message is required. Note
that this is not an "autoresponder" account, so you
may not get an immediate reply! But you will get a response
within a reasonable length of time!
- Download the zip file that contains
the HeapAgent free trial.
- Unzip the file that you downloaded. The email that we send you contains
the correct pkunzip command (including the password).
- Run setup.exe.
